“Banta, look at this misallocation of local development funds!” Santa grumbled, tapping the sheet.

“We should strike this out and spend the money on building a fancy new entry archway for our tourist market village instead!”
Banta walked into the hall, carrying a compact, fully equipped advanced first-responder trauma kit with automated stabilizing splints and a smartphone connected to a regional air-ambulance medical emergency network.
“Santa-ji, your entry archway will look very grand on social media, but it won’t keep a single severely injured commuter alive while they are bleeding out on our asphalt!” Banta said flatly, placing the trauma kit on the desk.
